To retain the assigned number, SIM cards must remain active; network providers may cancel numbers if not maintained. We do not accept responsibility for numbers once they have been sold and dispatched.
4. Sim Card Activation Window
Some SIM cards come with an expiration date by which they must be activated. All SIMs sold by Number HQ will have at least one month remaining for activation from the date of delivery, unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout or in the product description.
It is the customer’s responsibility to activate the SIM within a reasonable timeframe. We cannot be held liable for any loss, expiration, or non-activation of a SIM card after one month from the purchase date.
We recommend activating your SIM as soon as possible upon receipt to avoid any complications.
5. Grading & Rarity Calculations
All numbers listed on Number HQ may be assigned a grade or category based on our proprietary grading system, which evaluates key factors such as structure, repetition, rarity, memorability, and flow.
This system was developed to offer a fair, consistent, and transparent way to assess the quality and value of mobile numbers — helping customers navigate the catalogue with greater clarity and confidence.
Grades are calculated using a combination of mathematical pattern recognition and trend-based popularity, allowing us to reflect broader demand and structural appeal without relying on personal judgment.
While no grading model can account for all preferences or niche appeal, our system provides a trusted baseline to support transparent pricing and consistent product experience across the site.

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges once a SIM card has been dispatched.
Every number sold is unique, unused and once assigned, it cannot be resold or returned.
However, in the event of delivery issues, we are committed to providing a fair and transparent resolution:

If your SIM arrives damaged, we will do our best to issue a replacement for your original number.

If your SIM is confirmed lost in transit by Royal Mail, we will offer a replacement number of similar style, sequence, and value where possible.

If no suitable alternative is available or accepted, a full refund including postage will be issued.

We must follow Royal Mail’s official timelines before confirming an item as lost.
We always aim to resolve these rare situations in a way that protects our customers and honours the uniqueness of our numbers.
11. Limitation of Liability

Any loss resulting from the deactivation or cancellation of a number by the network provider due to inactivity.
